Once Upon a Time When We Were Trees - Chapter 3 - Tales of the Volcano

When our eyes cleared, we could see a stream of water flowing by a green landscape and two lone trees standing at the center. We travel here seeking to observe earlier versions of ourselves.

Our connection allows for us to think in one thought stream and immediately we do not understand what we see. How can we be here? All that we can see are the two trees standing in a green field. We observe no bipedal lifeforms.

We are both here in whatever time this is and also back in our home joined together at our crowns. What we are doing would have at one time been called magic. It feels like magic to us now.

It really is nothing more than a unified field breakthrough moment where all things are constant in energy and forever moving into and out of form; what was, is, always will be.

When we moved closer to the trees, we stopped to talk to each other for a moment. We asserted to hug each other, aware that we could not. The way we are joined in the moment is so far beyond the hug, it is the difference between thinking of someone, seeing their image, and actually being present with them.

“Did you expect us to find some level of humanoid life?” Lunaetz asked.

“I was sure we would. All we can see from where we have arrived is the stream, green fields, and the two trees,” Kai said to her.

When we came closer to the trees, we reached out to touch and hug the first one we reached with our minds. We were not prepared for what happened next.

The tree we touched began to talk to our joined minds at the same time. We looked at each other with a heightened sense of unease but calmed ourselves to listen.

“We know who you are? Do you have any idea who we are?” the Tree we were touching with our minds asked.

Kai asked with his thoughts. “How can we know?”

“I am Ima. My love is Ahk. Who did you come in search of?” Ima asked.

“My name is Lunaetz. Please call me Luna. My love’s name is Kai.

We came in search of our earlier selves. We can remember our origin from the first volcano.

When it exploded, what was once one became exploding scattered pieces falling into the ocean to become enclosed in crystal shells. When the crystal shells cracked with the passage of time, we floated to the surface and made our way to the land.

We seek out our earlier incarnations of ourselves to understand whether we have always been together. We love each other and believe we have always loved each other through time since the volcano.

Do you understand?” Lunaetz asked.

“We do understand you, young one,” a communication that was not Ima. It was Ahk.

“Well done, you do sense my distinctiveness. I am Ahk. I am one with Ima. We are one as are you. We are an earlier incarnation of the two of you and we have been expecting you,” he said.

“How could you have been expecting us?” Kai and Lunaetz asked.

“We are you. If later versions of us have a thought or an experience, we are aware of the thought or experience. What you are tracking from a hopeful idea, we validate to you, it is real.

The things that you enjoy doing with each other, we enjoying knowing we are doing those things in your time. Things have changed so much from this now.

When we began to be human, we discovered things we could not know as trees until later versions of ourselves learned new things. We did not know that our descendants would take your exhaled breath, some of your ancestors knew as carbon dioxide, feed on it, and turn it back into breathable air.

We do not always know what the purpose is of our current incarnation. We ponder it. Torment ourselves to know what it is. When we discover what it is, what might have been considered work is just being who we are. Do you understand?” Ahk asked.

“Maintain your joining with us for a few moments more and know all that you desire to remember,” Ima and Ahk said in unison.

The thoughts of both couples are one couple learning more about themselves. All are in awe as the information transfer past, present, and future is complete.

“Would you value incarnations we recommend you visit or do you wish to choose them on your own?” Ima and Ahk asked as one thought stream voice.

“We would, but first we want to ask you a question if you will permit,’ Lunaetz and Kai asked as one thought stream.

Ima and Ahk felt joy rush through them their guests could feel.

“You wish to know how we do what you enjoy to do that we have enjoyed throughout all of our incarnations. How could trees possibly touch each other in sensual ways and reach volcanic eruptions of passion felt in ecstasy and oozes of sap.

You can see that our nappy foliage, our limbs, and leaves reach out to touch and embrace each other. What you cannot see are how deep our roots go into the earth and how they intertwine each other in an embrace that cannot be broken.

In our moments where we touch above ground and connect below ground, a rubbing friction of our roots transfers into feeling throughout our beings until we reach the moment we cannot longer contain the power in us and it transforms into sweet and translucent goo that bathes us in an indescribable experience of pleasure.

May our love always live in the time of spring,” Ima and Ahk concluded.

Believing there was more yet to come, Lunaetz and Kai awaken to discover they have returned home. After disconnecting, they check the vid record of themselves and how long they have been gone.

No time has passed. There is no recording.
